DH.82 Tiger Moth Biplane Metal Wall Art
Designed by Geoffrey de Havilland, the Tiger Moth first flew on the 26th October 1931. Over 7,300 were produced and the type served in the RAF until 1959, when it was superseded by the Chipmunk, which was also designed and built by de Havilland. Although trialed in gunnery, bombing and aerial photography, it proved too successful as a trainer and served with 25 nations in the role. Â
